BOX ARRIVES- REMAIN CALM! |
|
Your Monkey/Gorilla
Bike has just arrived! Take a moment to thank
and congratulate yourself on the best purchase decision
you've made of a lifetime. Try to remain calm!
You feel the excitement build at this moment. Use common
scissors to cut the bands and remove the box to check
for any signs of damage. PLEASE
NOTE: In the event there is damage to
the box, crate, or bike write suspected damage on delivery
paperwork BEFORE SIGNING!!! |
Remove Plastic |
|
Remove
plastic cover and continue to inspect for any forklift
damage etc. Be sure to note this with the carrier
as well before signing. Physical damage is very
rare but can happen so protect yourself by inspection.
Do not throw away the plastic because it makes a nice
motorcycle cover and the box makes an excellent trash
bin! |
Right Side View |
|
Here is the right side view
of the metal crate and bike. Note Bike is 90%
completed already!!! You can see front
tire located in rear - This is to keep it from crushing
the oil pan when dropped or picked from the bottom
-, Handle bars are tied down and wrapped in plastic
and bubble wrap. Side Mirrors are on the back luggage
rack. - Can you find the Front fender?
Cardboard box under engine
now holds Mirrors, Battery, and Monkey Accessories.

Left Side View |

Close-up
of a 2002 72cc Gorilla Bike - Note the Large Jug and
Large Carburetor - All factory! - No mods here!!!
Chrome Chrome Chrome! We love Chrome! Even
the front forks are chrome! -The fenders are not chrome
because we have found that the plastic is tougher, lighter,
and requires less maintenance Besides - everyone
says the white contrast looks better. - we agree.
Turn signals
and head lamp are chrome. - Larger air intake on Gorilla
bike too! |

Remove Plastic Ties |

Disclaimer:
Please Remember
that it is the customers responsibility to check ALL
bolts, nuts and screws for looseness before & after riding.
An excellent solution for assembly is Loctite brand
thread locker. Loctite is a liquid that is applied to
bolt threads to prevent them from vibrating loose. Loctite
may be purchased at any hardware or automotive store. We
recommend Loctite #242 for all general hardware and Loctite
#243 for areas that encounter grease, oil and other lubricants.
If you own a motorcycle you are going to want to own
some Loctite! The instructions below are meant to help
guide you and are no substitution for reading the manual and
practicing safe mechanical habits. Please acknowledge
