Accessories / Battery |
|
| Find the 12V Battery (white
box) and evenly distribute the battery electrolyte between
the cells. Do not charge. The battery will
have all the energy that you need after you put the electrolyte
(acid) in the cells and wait 20 minutes. For future
reference: This is a very small and special 12V battery.
Do not apply a charge of greater than 1/2 amp.
(trickle charge). |
Installing Battery |
|
| Next thread the
battery drain tube through the hole in the frame by the
fender and trim so that it doesn't get caught in the tire
tread. Check the fuse to make sure that it is okay
and hook up the red positive terminal (+) to the red wire
(fuse) and the Blue negative terminal (-) to the Green
wire. |
Replace Battery Cover |
|
Install battery cover and
fill tank with gasoline. Notice the use of the
steel tank!
Also notice the tool kit that comes with every motorcycle.
You can store this in the battery cover tray if need
be. Everything has it's place! Also notice
the super thick steel and welded spine.
We have searched long and hard for this kind of excellent
craftsmanship!
|
Chain Guard |
|
| Last step.
Be sure to install the chain guard cover bolt. Our new line of Trail Bikes are so
much better than the old ones! |

2004 Model with Electric Start

| PRE
START CHECK LIST:
-
Check
the engine crankcase oil level - the bike is shipped
with oil but show responsibility by checking often.
-
Put fresh
gas in the gas tank. Premium fuel is always best!
-
Turn on
the gas line feed to the engine. The On/Off lever
is below the seat. Turn the gas line off when the
bike will not be used for awhile.
-
Move the
choke-lever out and turn the engine over to get
gas to flow into the engine carburetor while cranking
- (this is only necessary when starting your bike
for the first time.)
-
Make sure
that if you have an electric start be sure to hold
in on the brake (front or back) while pressing starting
button - this is a safety feature.
-
Do not
use synthetic oil until your motorcycle is fully
broken in.
As you can see... This bike
is both beautiful and easy to operate. Fun for
all ages! Please see Our Trail Bike pages
for more pictures of these awesome machines.
These trail bikes go where ATV's can't. Fun
and exciting. You'll look forward to the trips
to the store and work or in the pit. -
ENJOY!
