Install Battery
After assembling the battery place it in the floorboard.  Notice that the battery is mounted down low to help keep the center of gravity low too!  Excellent job design crew!

Connect Wires
This is as complex as it gets!  Apply both Red wires to the + Terminal (positive) and the Green wire to the - Terminal (negative).  Be sure to inspect the fuse to make sure it is in good shape (white tube pictured)

Install Cover Panel

Now you want to cover your battery.   Align he floor board panel tabs in the floor board and snap down to cover battery.

Locate Mirrors
Now it's time to locate the mirrors.  You should have previously found these under the seat.

Attach Mirrors
Screw the mirrors in to the handle bars.  Make sure the mirrors are perpendicular to the body of the bike.  Use a 14mm wrench to tighten down the nut to keep your mirrors from coming loose.

Add Fuel - YOU DID IT!

Now you will want to add fuel.  Notice the locking gas cap.  Body and gas cap are marked for easy alignment to insure a proper fit.

Get ready to showoff your new Genuine Retro Scooter off to all the neighbors! Be sure to follow the manufacturers Break-in instructions for many years of use.

Disclaimer:
Please Remember that it is the customers responsibility to check ALL bolts, nuts and screws for looseness before & after riding.  An excellent solution for assembly is Loctite brand thread locker.  Loctite is a liquid that is applied to bolt threads to prevent them from vibrating loose.  Loctite may be purchased at any hardware or automotive store.  We recommend Loctite #242 for all general hardware and Loctite #243 for areas that encounter grease, oil and other lubricants.  If you own a motorcycle you are going to want to own some Loctite!  The instructions below are meant to help guide you and are no substitution for reading the manual and practicing safe mechanical habits.  Please acknowledge that Retrobikes.com is not responsible for misassembly, misrepresentation, overlooked details and shall be held harmless and free from any liability for any advice and instruction provided.
